Research

I consider myself to be swimming across the river between biological anthropology and bioarchaeology. That said, I have a strong commitment to multidisciplinary approaches for my research. My research so far bridges:

  • biological and forensic anthropology
  • social science and humanities
  • public anthropology
  • (bio)archaeology

My methodological and theoretical perspectives are heavily based on anthropology, osteology, demography.

My research interests are paleopathology, osteopathology, juvenile skeletons and skeletal trauma. You may refer here to view my current research and projects
